A Peek at our Week...

Cold and flu season is hitting our area hard this year. Every hospital bed from Spokane to Seattle to Portland is full. Remember the best way to cut down on the spread of illness is for you and your children to wash your hands with soap and water frequently.

Department of Early Learning guidelines state that children are to wash their hands every day upon drop-off. If parents could help work that into their daily drop-off routine we'd REALLY appreciate it! We start teaching children at one year of age how to properly wash their hands at a sink with soap and water. Our goal is to have them washing independently by age two. At minimum, children wash their hands before and after meals, outdoor play, toileting, and messy activities ~ it's a lot of hand washing.

Thanks for your co-operation!
